ArcticSuperStores - more space & lower costs

July 2010 We are proud to release details of our latest product - ArcticSuperStores. Designed and built to combine the benefits of containers and wide body storage modules. The series start with 4 pallet wide 42 pallet/50 ton capacity Super2 as shown to the right. Additional modules can be added to create larger facilities to suit your requirements. DNV reefers

May 2010 During May the first series of DNV approved 10' reefers were manufactured and shipped to the customer. These are the first DNV built containers supplied by TITAN ArcticStore and the first time Daikin machines have been used in DNV classified containers. A further series are being built in June.

1 TITAN

Effective 1st January 2010 all TITAN's UK rental and sales activities have been consolidated in TITAN Containers A/S. The domestic rental activities of TITAN Containers (UK) Ltd. are 100% integrated and will in future trade under the TITAN ArcticStore name. The TITAN team and contact details remain unchanged.

CO2 cube - Copenhagen 2009

In connection with the 2009 Climate Conference in Copenhagen US artists employed TITAN Containers to build pontoons and perform all the logistics of placing 12 containers in a lake adjacent to the center of Copenhagen creating a life size immage of just how large 1 metric ton of CO2 really is. Save money and help to reduce CO2 emmissions with our range of low energy portable cold stores and refrigerated containers. New look for CE models

We are shortly finished with the prototype CE model retrofit and refurbishment. Whilst many of the CE models are only a few years old some of the earlier models are scheduled for retrofit already from 2010. The prototype to establish future specification for this series is nearing completion with brand new Daikin machine.

October - National Fruit Show

Direct from the factory this new AP model is a fine partner for the somewhal older but none the less impressive vehicle. ArcticStore continues to bring new advantages including controlled/modified atmospehere options.

20th September - More new equipment built for the U.K. market.

A series of new 20' hicube standard containers were recently finished and are now on the way to UK. 9'6" high these ambient storage containers are ideal for those customers who require extra height in the container to accomodate larger items. This type is available for rent with a ramp and other optional extra such as lighting.

1st September - Out with the old and in with the new. Yet another customer receives low power consumption cold stores.

With 4 container cold stores on hire this customer can look forward to reducing their power bills by perhaps as much as £ 20.000 a year.

25th August - new investments in the U.K. container and cold store rental market

Equipment quality remains an important issue for ArcticStore and we have recently placed new orders to boost the ambient rental fleet with new build 20' standard containers. The first series were completed in August and further production is scheduled for next month. At the same time we have ordered a further batch of new refrigeration machines from Daikin. These will be delivered to the U.K. in September and donor containers are ready and waiting ensuring more top quality & low power cold stores to meet customer demands this Autumn.

24th July 2009 Container Exchange (UK) Ltd. acquired by TITAN Group

We are pleased to inform that the TITAN group has acquired the container rental and sales activities of Container Exchange (UK) Ltd. The container hire fleet and the rental activities will be integrated into our existing ArcticStore services. We believe their modern fleet of low noise; purpose built container cold stores will compliment the existing ArcticStore fleet. Further details of this range of cold stores. We believe the combined refrigerated and ambient container resources will give new advantages and benefits to all our customers.

ArcticStore XXL Whilst containers are more cost effective ArcticStore now offer 37 pallet/3 pallet wide portable cold stores for hire. Apart from significant power savings these units are based upon maximum safety for users incorporating many safety features and reflect experiences gained over the past 4 years together with H&SE requirements. Further order placed for new reefer machines A new order for further new reefer machines for the UK hire market has been placed with Daikin. LXE10E machines will be shipped to the UK for retro fitting from early November onwards. See brochure Whilst only offering -30C as minimum set point there are other advantages with the LXE10E including hot gas defrost and lower noise emissions. This machine delivers similar power savings (to the Magnum) of up to £ 15 per day at -25C.

Flat hollow floor now featured in new containers New reefers start to arrive By mid-September new 20' reefer containers have started to arrive in UK depots. These will be followed in a few weeks by new 40' reefers (HiCube - 10% more space but same price) and additional 20's. All are fitted with TK Magnum machinery. The containers are a mixture of units built with traditional T-section floors or with new design flat foors for improved user convenience.

New machines ordered The 1st order for new TK Magnum machines for UK delivery has been placed with shipment from China due already mid-September. Magnums will be fitted to the better quality containers acquired and we expect these to be ready for use from around end-October. In addition to greater range of set points and increased reliability the Magnum offers very significant power savings.

Staff relocated 1st September and ArcticStore staff is installed into the TITAN UK office. David and Gaynor join the TITAN team of Phil, Paul, Matt and Kath in Enfield.
